Well i came across a couple of bugs in the .val file i just couldnt fix (wake & bubbles from prop).
Mostly this is because i absolutely refuse to do any hex editing, id rather chew my own arm off than use a hex editor thankyou very much... So essentially the mods in the trash can, however its a shame to throw all that work away, so ive packaged what i had so far into a sort of unfinished mod, if anyone wants a project to complete, here you go... Ive included the 3d model + texture in the package for anyone who just wants to mess around with it outside of SHIII. (The model included is a bit more detailed than the one in game (i had to trim the polycount for SHIII) + its the original so its in quads rather than triangles so cant be used in games without being converted to tri`s first.) http://www.savefile.com/files/916172 -FM. |

Well, I'm glad you uploaded it all the same. Unless you have any objections, we'll take a look at it. No promises of course... but we'll look at her and go from there.

Yep, feel free, its actually not all that bad, only those 2 bugs i mentioned. Everything else works fine, prop/planes/rudder etc...
Although its a pretty small addition to sh3 since it effectivly has no offensive armament, if you sink it, its about 30tons, so probably not worth a torpedo... |

Sounds like easy fixes. I'll look into it.
How can I enable this to test it? Is it JSGME ready? Don't give up FM! Anything can be fixed and made to work....... I'm not good (or up to speed) with 3D modeling but if I have some questions about locations can you give me the information? Let me ask you this: can you give me x,y,z coordinates of where you want the prop bubbles to start? |

Can you post screenshots of the craft in motion so that I can see what needs fixed? Screenshots of the problem area would be great. Thanks!
I checked the screenshots and I just barely caught glimpses of the problems. I can fix what I've seen for you so far. It's easy for me to do and would be glad to do it. Give me a couple of days as I'm currently on the road for work and away from my tools and home computer. We will get this working!! |

If I recall correctly, the crew of the X-6 or X-7 was captured and held aboard the Tirpitz while the timers for the charges they had set... counted down.
![]() As a result of their discussion with the Germans, the Tirpitz was moved just enough, just in time... having had cold boilers. The crew of the Tirpitz were able to see, hear, and feel the resultant explosion... right where their ship had been a bit earlier. Was on the History or Military channel here. |
