Just curious, but in the real Navy, each department is made up of different ranks. Ie: Chief, 1st Class PO, 2nd Class PO ... so and so forth.
I notice that my crew members both at sea and in port get promotions. I also notice that 1/2 my crew are chiefs and the rest (except a handfull of 10 sailors or less) are 1st Class P.O.? Should we as Captains need to transfer out crew members to "balance" them, or is it a reflection of a good/experienced crew...and rank is a reflection of that? Thanks.

I think you no need to transfer crew members, their rank is a reflection of a good/ experienced crew.
