Whenever I take a modern submarine below 500 meter give or take, it stops there, and the sub doesn`t respond to anything. It just disappears.
What is the problem? |

Your submarine has been crushed to death by the water pressure depth.

What sub? Each modern sub is a different mod and may have it's own problems. You will have to be more specific if anyone can help you. I am not trying to be an ass or sound like one, just can't help you unless we know what you are running.
Also you say Meters but by default settings the depth in a US boat would be shown in Feet. Have you set your game to always show metric? |

I can answer this one. It's a hard coded feature in SH4. Anything that passes 1650 ft just disappears, even if the boats crush depth is set lower than that. If you play stock with no mods and sink a ship in open ocean and watch it sink, eventually it will just disappear as well.

Theres a bug in sh4 that causes the game to have issues past 500m/1500feet. if i remember it correctily. it has been there ever since stock.

Why would you want to change it, you're dead....somethings got to vanish. It's game over, shouldn't matter how it ends, although I would prefer to see water crushing in, people screaming and then you black out.

In his first post Karle94 is referring to the Ohio, Skipjack, November, etc. Their diving depths are much greater than 450ft.
