Default Doh.

So after my little hiatus waiting for 1.3, I figured I'd start sucking it up, stop charging in with fish flying, and actually take my time planning my attack like I used to in SH3. My excuse for the reckless attitude? I was distracted by the shiny .

So my first patrol kinda sucked, due to the attitude listed above. Not horrible, but not stellar either (plain out missed with the 75% of the torpedoes... can't even blame the fish. I just plain missed). On my second patrol, on the way to drop off supplies in Manilla, I get a radio report of a Jap ship in the Karimatta Straits (or something like that).

I intercept. Ease myself into position... taking range reports, nailing the speed & course down. Discovered I had ID'd the target incorrectly, but that's easy to fix. A few more plots, and I've got the target nailed down again. Moved closer... closer... called for battle stations... closer... closer... ought to set the torpedoes now... um... wait a second... why are my tube selectors black? Panic. Switch to the torpedo screen... nothing.

Yep. Forgot to load fish in the boat before I left port.

There's nothing like coming to a gun fight with an empty gun. *sigh*

Done it myself. Quite silly that you have to load them yourself but I guess that makes you choose what type of torps you want.

Could work if ramming was moddeled properly. I've rammed a Kongo at 9knots and was simply pushed underneath the vessel - no damage to either.
