I seeee youuu...oh no, not again !
I am experiencing the dreaded "they-see-me-but-i-cannot-see-them" syndrome. What did jimbuna call it, "eagle eyes, vampire eyes" ? There is a fix for this in the Atlantic. I am newly assigned to Salamis, never been here before (wow!), and have recently loaded GWX skins (double wow!). I must be standing out somehow.
![]() To all who are experienced with The Med and Skins, is there something in the program that needs tweaking by me ? Thank you. Reverie |

I think as of now Rubini's "Stay Alert Crew" fix is the best solution for 8km visibility (Stock in GWX and standard SH3). For 16km visibility, either Runini's mod (16k version) or NYGM sensors, which IIRC Ducimus adapted in his "GWX Flavoured to Taste" tweak pack for the use with GWX:hmm:

Yes, that "Stay Alert" Mod is the fix I use for the Atlantic. Realistic and rewarding difference there.
I suppose I'll take the Skins off, and then try the Med. A process of eleimination until I flounder and come crying back to the forum for help. My last straw was overcast and raining, at periscope depth, with little to no warning of a contact. External view showed a destroyer with searchlights on, less than a boats length from me, ramming my conning tower. It's the screwed up Atlantic all over again. ![]() Reverie |
