Default Questions About GWX

Sry if i'm causing another downpour of questions but, if i were to install GWx are there any pre download things i need. And also i hear GWX is great but what exactly are the changes in gameplay etc.? Thank you all again sub sim .

Hi!

Your best bet is probably to visit the GWX download page (http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/GWX/) where you can find all things related to GWX, including the latest version of the GWX Manual (aka "Das Buch") that you can read on-line (and a printer-friendly version you can download). That tome should answer a lot of questions as to what the gameplay changes are.

Some things you will want to have include the Jonesoft Generic Mod Enabler (JSGME) and most likely SH3 Commander, both of which can be downloaded from the above site; however, to actually get GWX up and running all you will need is a clean installation of stock Silent Hunter III. Again, more details at the referenced site.

well i followed the instructions and downloaded all files except gwx.exe. It says to run the exe but it says i need to insert disc 1 or browse for file. So the question is, is where do i put GWX 2,3,4,and 5 so i can install. Thanks

Make a folder somewher - desktop etc - put all 5 bin files and the GWX.exe into it and then run the exe

When that has finished run the GWX 1.03 exe
