http://www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk/l_class.htm pix of L-26 are about 2/3rds down
it was identified not long after Swiss Air flt.111 crashed off Peggy's Cove several yrs ago. while searching for wreckage, side scan sonar found a rusted object which they new couldn't be parts of the plane. Cusslers ppl took an interest and identified it, and even got into the forward torpedo and engine rooms. it was used by the Canadian Navy near wars end for ASW training and then scuttled for sonar training

There's an episode of Mysteries of the Deep on National Geographic channel that shows this sub. The episode is really about the Swiss Air flight, but it seems more of the episode actually talks about L-26. Either way it was interesting.
