[REQ] send range and bearing data from Radar to TDC

Would it be possible to make a key command to send range data from radar to TDC the way it is done with the Sonar?
Apparently (from reading Ned Beach's Novels

) radar was the usual way ranges were obtained on the surface, at least when it was installed (before 1943 there were hardly surfaced attacks anyway).
Could this be added by modding command.cfg or other files or is that something the developers must add?
