My mother, she was a teacher of Chinese school, had lived in Japan for thirty years.
In spite of being a high educated person, she was unable to understand Japanese very well until she died.
She did not have motivation to study Japanese well because she did not need to study Japanese.
So, do you believe that everybody live in earth need to study English well?
Maybe Engrish is enough for middle class peolpe.

I think the fact that nearly everyone can speak English makes us very very lazy.I mean look at this forum,what language are we all speaking here?

That said I once had a go at German and was doing quite well untill I got to the grammer - lost me completely from then on

Yeah my grammer's awful, which probably didn't help when it comes to learning someone elses.
