Could the Do-24 and dragon be converted to SH4?

Nice. Because the Dutch AF used Do-24 in NEI.
![]() I know there were a handful of Dragons in Malaya as well, I remember seeing the name in Bloody Shambles. Nicely done, BTW. |

The Dutch (MLD-KNIL) had 24 Do.24K-2's, with six ending up with the RAAF. BTW, the "DH.89 Dragon" should be renamed to "DH.89 Dragon Rapide" (technically "DH.89 Dominie" by C'wlth users). The Dragon was a DH.84. ![]() Last edited by JScones; 06-02-07 at 09:27 PM. |

Yes, we did have Do-24s in the NEI, but the MLD-KNIL never existed. The NEI Army was the KNIL (Koninklijk Nederlandsch-Indisch Leger, or Royal Netherlands Indies Army) and its air arm was originally known as the LA (Luchtvaart Afdeling or Air Department), being renamed ML (Militaire Luchtvaart or Military Aviation) or to give its full title ML-KNIL. The ML, together with the rest of the KNIL, was disbanded in 1950 after Indonesia became independent.
The MLD (Marine Luchtvaart Dienst, or Naval Air Service) operated the Do-24s (as well as PBY-5s), and was a totally separate service, being part of the Royal Netherlands Navy ![]() |

![]() I suppose thats what happens when you go from memory. Thanks for correcting. I must admit that I find the whole DEI campaign fascinating, maybe because as a complete study it is somewhat less covered than other campaigns (ie fall of Malaya, Singapore etc), at least here in Australia anyway. I've just finished reading about the evacuation to Broome and subsequent Japanese attack. Quite interesting stuff. |

^^^ I agree, I'm fascinated as well. I'd love to see a Dutch sub modded in, too.

denis,
the bomb load for the rufe doesn't work for me. I looked at the file, and the load is listed as type=3. That is usually reserved for the 500kg bombs. Then in the eqp, 1 bomb is 100kg, the other is 500 even though the load is "2x100kg." I tried changing the values, but no bombs show up on the plane. Other than that, it is VERY cool! The only change I would make is to make the white skin a little more greenish because in the sun it is so bright. Pretty, though! <S> tater |

Odd. I tried stock, and a a version with both bombs changed to 100kg instead of 1x100kg and 1x500kg. Neither work for me. Plane appears and flies, but no bombs.
Do-24 works fine. |
