did anybody see the film "the sinking of the lusitainia" on uk tv tonite, it really brings home ,what a terrible waste war can be and how goverment propaganda twisted the event too thier own ends.

Yes, I watched it, some parts of the dramatisation were innaccurate, but on the whole it stuck pretty close to the truth and was quite well done.

If you're talking about the one I'm thinking of then I know one anachronism I noticed. The u-boat they presented visually looked to me to be a type VII.
