Two small issues

Hey guys. I wanted to ask a few things: first of what is the torpedo range for each torpedo type and what do higher Mk torps do that lower marks don't? Pretty easy to guess but I think it's best to be sure, no?

Second, I've read here about issues related to a premature retirement out of campaign mode. Is this issue fixed in 1.2? If not, is it possible to install some mod to work around the issue? Another thing that bothers me is that so far (august '42) I've only been doing South China Sea patrols. All the way. Except the first two patrols (somewhere south of Manilla, can't remember the name of that sea right now), I've only been sent to the South China Sea. Repetitive? Most likely. Is there a possible work around (maybe a mod?), or do I have to wait for the next patch?

Bottom line: can the retirement/repetitive bugs in carrer be worked aroudn with a mod?

You should check out the Trigger Maru v1.2 mod. It fixes some of the points you made.

Thanks.... too bad the fixes are not stand alone - I don't want all the whacky changes in such big mods.

Have a look at the read-me in Trigger, sometimes it is just a matter of deleting or changing what you don't like in the mod, keeping the rest

I like the external cam, turned it back on in Trigger, also like stock sinking times, so I removed it as well.
