Default Engine Upgrade problem!

Hello mates. I recently upgraded my engine in my VIIB, and now my sub lost the ability to go all ahead flank while surfaced. I havent tried it submerged yet. Everytime I try ahead flank, my engine shuts off. When I order a crash dive, im dead in the water. Whats wrong? Much Thanks. Oberleutnant z. S. Erich von Ritter

Are you playing with the sabotage / malfunction option on?

Just a thought, and maybe a daft one

try manually setting 20kts on the knotmeter, that should get you going up to flank even if sh3 commander has been tinkering with your engine.
also check your rpm, flank speed is around 500rpm normally.

So its the setting I have SHCommander thats giving me the problem? Because this happens all the time since I've gotten the upgrade. Thanks for your help mate.
