I FINALLLLLY get to see a battleship in a convoy (GWX BTW) I always save 2 games
fastfed1 fastfed2 I always restore a saved game if I get badly damaged or die, so I pretty much had so much flooding though I recovered but my batteries were destroyed, so I reloaded my fastfed1 game, sure enough right when it says "Not to long ago" it crashed to the desktop and asks if I want to send the information to microsoft or not.. DAMN THIS!! There has got to be a way to restore this game, also my fastfed2 saved game does not show up, so its either fastfed1 which crashes or all the way back to before patrol. Anyway to recover this? Or atleast get my fastfed2 saved game to show again? THANKS |

What are the conditions when you are saving, surfaced, submerged? Did you install any mods while on patrol:hmm:

Never save whilst submerged
![]() Try taking the saved game file to another drive, reboot the machine then put it back to its original location. and/or Add the letter 'x' after your saved game title then do the above. Sometimes these actions help ![]() |

You may have the dreaded "windspeed=0" bug, check the campaign files in the main SH3 directory. Do a search here for the particulars. I am at work now and unable to remember the file names (3) of which need to be checked and corrected this could salvage the 'bugged' saves.
Good luck! Wilcke |

If you are playing GWX all the 3 files need to be WindSpeed=4.000000
Campaign_scr\Lnd and Rnd.mis C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Campaigns\Campa ign |

OK NOW WHAT HAPPENED!!!
I went into the documents folder, sh3, saved games and changed my fastfed1 to fastfed1x rebooted the computer, and it still didn't work, so I said screw it and just reloaded again from the base ( restarting that patrol ) half way into it I tried to save the game, now it just says saved failed. No matter what I try to save it as. |
