What the FRAK?!?!?!!

April 1943

USS Balao is on her first war patrol under my command, this is my ninth war patrol total

my first boat was the Tambor class USS Tuna, followed by the Gato boat USS Drum

orders-

Patrol the northern solomons and the carolines

results...

whoever had the bright idea to have a COMPUTER decide when to retire a human needs to lose his frakken job

BALAO boats being retired?!?!?! in 43?!?!?!?!

this is unbelievable!!!!

UBI neeeds to go bankrupt!!!!

if u cant make a decent game then u shouldnt be allowed to even try

Read around a bit Marky. There's been a few threads about this.

SH 4 is not like SH3. You don't start at the beginning of the war and run unlimited patrols until it ends. You get a number of patrols, like 4-10 or so, then you are "retired". Just like in Real life, U.S. skippers did a small number of patrols and in SH4 it's the same.

I fully agree however, UBI should have done a better job on the end screens, added a few more to better explain what is going on.

LOL, just start another Career. This time in 1943 or 1944.

Maybe for a bit of spice, try a Sugar boat this time.

You have a LOT of save and career slots, don't be afraid to use a dozen or so of them.

I would suggest to load the last save before u retired then play it again but get less ships sunk or somethin like that then maybe u can still play on ur career, might work but havent try that yet.
