Default Where is harbor traffic?

I've been on 3 patrols and I'm the only one in port. I find some ships elnterineg or leaving the harbor, but none in port.

I have sh3 v1.4b patched and nothing else. Getting GWX to work is a difficult endeavor.
one last time:
1. I've got the files on a disc.
2. I move the files to my desktop. Do I create a folder here when I move them? Or is the desktop fine?
3. Do I move the folder into the c: programfiles:ubisoft:silenthunter3
4. Then I click the folder and them click on gwx.exe and everything should run fine?
I really need someone to hold my hand in trying to figure this out. I cant understand the instructions that are up.
Also, I have a game and profile saved in sh3 and patched to 1.4b, do I need to uninstall/install again, since I've got saved files?
thanks for anyhelp and this must be a headache for you. I've never d/l any mods or used JSGME or anything like that and I dont know what to do or where to start for that matter.

Edit: since we're here, how do you d'l sh3 commander? What files do you download? and how do you get it to work.

It has been so long since i did all of that i dont even remember what to do, but i can offer this up to you.

If i remember correctly there are never any ships in port in stock SH3 even when patched....in any ports, EVER. You and you alone must win world war two or die trying.

GWX will add lots of traffic, and i think so will the Real U-boat mod on the chance you cant get GWX working.

i know there are several people around here who can help you with your installation questions

When I installed GWX I saved the exe. file and all 5 bins into the same folder on my desktop. I then moved that into my SH3 folder, opened it and ran the exe. file. I have had no problems doing it this way.

For traffic you can download Rubini's old 'Harbour Traffic Mod', but you're much better off getting GWX, as it has the latest 'Harbour Traffic' update plus a whole lot more.
