Default Raincoats

How come the watch crew don't wear raincoats anymore in nasty weather? I think I saw them in the stock game, but not in GWX.

Mine do, factor in that if they are on watch and the weather changes they remain in the current uniform, but if you go to 10 meters and back they reappear in proper garb.

What I did not try was to take them off watch and bring them back......would that also do the same thing?????

They will not automatically put their coats on if they were on the bridge before it rained, the same goes for reloading saves.

The get them to were them just hit P wait for the bridge to clear and then hit S.

Another factor is the setting for when the guns cant be used in bad weather, the crew will only use their raincoats when you cant man the guns due to bad weather.

Also rotating the crew works just as well as diving and surfacing.

Some people set the bad weather gun parameter above 15m/sec which means you would never see them in oilskins
