Ok this is just my opinion...many skippers are complaining about weirdness after
installing the 1.2 patch... I removed my mods, and installed the 1.2 patch over my 1.1 game *sigh* not a good idea, I had all kinds of anomolies... so I then uninstalled the game reinstalled, patched to 1.2 and *smack* again problems, map was screwed up the SJ radar had gone bye bye *arrg* so I uninstalled (including the SH4 saves folder in My Documents) reinstalled and patched to 1.2...all is "fine" now. It seems to me that if you keep that SH4 folder when uninstalling it can cause problems with a new installation + new patch, I say this because there are a lot of game related files in there that pertain to your old installation...maybe Im wrong but if your having problems its something to look at ![]() |

Good possibility here. SH3, if any file left over, you could not load the game at all. At this point, anything goes! Glad you got it working
