Operation Sealion... What if book

I read a "what if" book on the German Invasion, its about an American Pilot who was a volunteer with the British RAF. Germany Lanched Operation Sealion, which landed German units onto English beaches. The story begins with the defeat of the RAF and the first days if the German Invasion. German Airborne units parachute deep into England and German Naval forces land Panzer and Infantry units on the Eastern and Southern Coasts of England which sweep through the country side.

The story gets good when the American Pilot is flying with the few remainig RAF planes and attacks the German planes carrying the Airborne units. He gets shot down and safelty lands in friendly territory but when morning comes he realizes that in the night German land and air units have surrounded him. This is the best part.
He is walking in the woods looking for any friendlies but he is discovered by a small German Recon unit, He is taken prisoner but while his captors r taking him back to the German HQ, a group of resistance fighters, ambush the German Recon unit, Rescueingthe Downed Pilot. The resistance fighters r made up of armed school boys and a few young soldiers who make the pilot their commander since he is an officer. The main part of the book is about how this resistance group trys to head north to Scotland were the remains of the British army is located. On the way they create havoc for the Occuping German forces. The book ends with the full retreat/defeat of German Forces in England and with American/Canadian Forces landing and aiding the British defeat Germany,
Its a good read, but i dont remember the name of the book, has anyone else read something like this???
