Just a quick question: Will you still get weather changes if you are not useing the "Enviornmental Effects" option?

Enviromental Effects deals with Graphic Card processes.
It has nothing to do with the weather in spite of the word "enviroment" being in there. Short answer is given above. |

I thought that this setting is what enabled clouds, shadows, and fog. I would consider those effects as belonging to the environment.Anyway, at the moment I'm not useing that option due to the transparent crewmen effect that it causes. I am presently just playing the single patrols, and quick missions until the new patch. Then I'll try my hand at a campaign career.

It also can kill your frame rates... this has been proven. Perhaps 1.2 will alleviate this issue. |

" No it doesent "enable" them it just makes them look different.
It also can kill your frame rates... this has been proven." That's why they are options. Those with more powerful computers can turn them on and not worry about frame rates. With the Monolith of Doom gone, maybe more people can use higher settings. -Pv- |
