Oh what have I done???
Was playing for a couple of hours tonight and suddenly the game crashes: I am not worried, as I had happily saved just before the crash, so I go to restart. The wolf howls (GWX2.0, no other mods at all), the little animation plays and then it exits straight back to the desktop. Repeatedly. Very repeatedly. The strange thing is the blue bar at the bottom of the screen remains through the intro sequence i.e. the start button, the computer clock and running programs etc. this NEVER happened before. Nothing else changed on the computer since I last played (it hasn't even been switched on since I last played). If, as I suspect, it's a case of deleting everything and reinstalling, is there any way to save my career (i.e. which files would I want to keep?) Sorry to be a bore about this: I've seen threads aplenty about game malfunctions here, but I've not had this before and I was really getting into this career. Any thoughts? |

I agree with goldenrivet; reinstall. I dont know your specs, but since SHIII worked on your rig before this happend, i guess they are ok. If i were you, i would also check if there are any programs running in the background, that could cause instability. Probably not the cause, but better safe than sorry. ![]() ![]()
