If anyone is sick of the fake names used in STALKER for all the weapons (They did this to avoid licensing issues), this mod fixes that:

STALKER Real Gun Names mod v.3 by Kyodan (04.09.07)

This mod simply modifies the names of the guns to their real-life counterparts. The gun and ammo descriptions were adjusted accordingly.

This mod has been tested to work in single and multiplayer.

Edit the line:
$game_data$ = false| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\
to
$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\


*Installation*
Extract the 'gamedata' folder to the root of your STALKER directory (e.g. C:\My Games\STALKER\)

*Deletion/Modification*
Delete or edit the file 'string_table_enc_weapons.xml' inside the gamedata\config\text\eng folder.
