Default Fatigue model GWX w/SH3 Commander

Hey guys,

I have been playing GWX for a few weeks now. Great mod! Today I installed SH3 Commander and started a new career. I really like the fatigue model with GWX. After I installed SH3 Commander and installed the GWX cfg files, I noticed that the fatigue model is different possibly. My crew seems to be getting tired alot faster. Anyone know if SH3 messes w/ the fatigue?

Thanks

Does the journey throught the Kiel canal tire your crew more quickly? Thought this might be why the first shift gets so tired quickly. First time sailing from Kiel (always played 2nd flot before) so I am not sure.

Thanks again

Well when you're near land you can't go at such high TC as in the ocean so your crew is constantly having their stamina drained. You can edit TC so that your maximum near land is one or two higher than the maximum TC that fatigue is modelled at.

The more you keep your TC at 32 or less the quicker your crew will tire.

In theory, if you could play the game continually at TC > 32, your crew would never tire. Of course, that can't happen.

So yes, low TC trips through the canal will affect your crew. Make sure they are all (well, as many as possible) in the rest compartments. There's no point having your torpedo compartment manned, for example, when entering or leaving the canal.

And as P_Funk suggested, raise your LandProximity TC value to something like 128 (min - I run at 512 and have never had an "accident"). Search the forum for instructions on how to do so - it's commonly asked.
