To which folders do my screenshots go?

I know by pressing ctrl+ f11 takes a screenshot. Where is the folder that saves them to?

I get them in the Silent Hunter 4 folder that holds all the files.
They show up as .bmp files....

Really? Thats a really vague thing for the developers to do, and very lazy too. Why couldn't they've just assigned a folder for the screenshots and also save them as jpeg.
