Realism

As others have mentioned previously, RSRD campaign can be frustratingly realistic (i.e. two patrols with nothing to show except evading enemy warships) then there's the 'payoff' patrol which in my case was a subsequent patrol in the Kuril Islands/Sea of Okohtsk area and I picked off 4 merchants in as many days. Very satisfying after the two previous 'dry' patrols. This sim is definitely NOT for the young, shootem up crowd, LOL.
As someone once said, "patience is a virtue" but in this game it's a necessity!!
