1941 career and I have a radar antenna?!?!? GWX 1.03

It's 1941 and I am beginning my 3rd patrol. I recently upgraded GWX from the basic version to version 1.03 while in port after my second patrol. That took care of the problem of not being able to see my insignia on the conning tower. Now there seems to be another glaring problem since my upgrade to 1.03... as I'm pulling out of St. Nazaire, I notice that I have a giant, rotating radar aerial on the top of the conning tower! How did radar get added to my VII-C in 1941?? It's not even an upgrade option in port!

Is this some sort of bug of which I'm unaware?? Once again... thanks to all of you in advance for your advice... I am a GWX noob and appreciate all of your valuable insights!
