Does anyone know any sites that auction or sell classical antiquities? I've been googling and can't seem to find anything of substance. Mostly I can find a couple pieces of pottery and such, but nothing a long the lines of swords or helms.
Do such items even exist in quantity anymore? I'm talking Roman and pre-Roman eras. edit; I found a couple of short swords on ebay, but thats it.

You might try the main auction houses like Butterfield & Butterfield. I do remember one of the first US Antiques Roadshow programs featured a 14th century Venetian Helmet that was appraised at $400K.
