Medic Station

Okay hi guys I'm new, I just want to say something that's puzzling me about SH4, and the other SH's, Why didn't the DEV add a Medic slot to put the wounded men in to heal until ready you have a DC so why not put in a Medic Station for them, it doesn't have to be PC, but just in this game would be nice. And on another topic, I do not see a Depth Max color on the diving meter like in SH3, so I sometimes get confuse on how deep to dive before crush depth, can someone fix this please thanks. :p

There are a number of posts about the healing issue already - to summarise, men will heal in their stations when off-watch. For more info, do a search for the existing threads.

Missing Depth indications.... I don't know, maybe that was historical. However, it's not too hard to remember a number or two for your sub is it? 250ft seems to be a common test depth but since all the subs can dive past their test depths to an unknown crush depth, a coloured bar on the depth guage isn't a great deal of use. In fact, crush depths are often "off the bottom" of the deep guage anyway.

EDIT : In fact, the picture of a sub depth guage here :

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=109059

Seems to show that US Sub depth guages did not have coloured bands on them anyway.

Test depth's can be found on the net (wikipedia etc.)

Porpoise (USS Plunger) is around 250ft
Gato (USS Drum) is 300ft, though I have taken Gato to 500 and back (lots of damage though)
