Default Can't turn the hydrophone wheel

Hello,

I go to the sonar station (F8), but can't turn the wheel of the hydrophone.

I click on the handdle, everywhere on the screen, but the wheel won't rotate.

Am I missing something ?

Thank you.

The handle doesn't work. Use the Home and End keys. Theydidn't put that information on the keyboard chart or in the manual.

Ok thanks a lot, now I can turn the handle.

Now another problem: I detect a target with the hydrophone. Surface, dive again, and phsssshhhht, I can't hear anything in the hydrophone. The target is right in front of me.

Is this a bug ?

Also, can we lower/increase the volume of the hydrophone like in SH3 ?

Thank you.

Not a bug but rather different layers of interference in your case it sounds like the culprit is the change in depth causing water to flow past the array faster. try waiting untill your depth is stabilized and reduce speed. Also if you are below the thermal layer sound propogation may either increase or decrease dependent on the layer type.(you may hear better or worse). im not sure how realisticly the layers are modeled i know it was this way in DW.

Hope this helps

You also need to be at or below 55 feet & 4 Kts.

Drop down to 55 feet, just below standard pericope depth, and keep your speed under 4 Kts.
