how do i drop off soldiers i am at the waypoint now what how do i off load the Gis

Cut your engines apparently. (Order full stop) Then a window will appear asking you to let go your troops.

You have to be pretty close to the shore. Just hitting the waypoint is not good enough. If you don't see the beach your not close enough.
