Whenever I return home from a patrol, the TC gets slower and slower and it take VERY long for the radio messages to pop up on the clipboard.
Whuzzup? Is this a known bug? Trout |

Your radar starts to notice friendly vessels as you approach home port....this causes TC to drop or stutter. At least that's been my experience...same thing with SH3.

Yes, it's when you get closer to your port that this manifests itself.

It depends on your system specs. There are a lot more objects in water to be tracked and rendered near port as well as objects on land. Perhaps there will be some inprovement after patches, dunno. But your system specs and graphic options make a difference now and I'm sure it'll remain that way in the future. Turn down your TC to where it stops stuttering when you get close to port. That's what I do anyway.

I had the same problem on my very fast PC (OC'd Core 2 E6600 at a whopping 3.6 GHz.) It's just inefficiently programmed so it doesn't handle a lot of data well. The workaround to remove the radarman is good.
