Here are my findings watching RSRD in DVD format (those are times on your DVD player so you can easily find the scene),

When on the surface and dive to scope depth...use 16:22-16:53 (this is a good one so you don't have those bombs exploding as with the current one.

Two alternatives that could also be used are found at 25:50-26:30 and 1:21:30-1:21:45.

Silent Running "All Stop" found at 1:26:00.

Emergency Surface found at 26:45-27:20.

Standard Surface order from scope depth 1:16:40-1:16:48 or 1:27:50-1:28:00.

Spaxpore did one and I really like it. I watched the movie several times and was wondering if someone can take hte film DVD locations and update or add a few more sounds to Spax's wonderful work?

Maybe even add some of the sounds used http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=108512 from the Ultimate Sound mod, however Gunther used U-575 movie.

My modding knowledge,is not learnt to accomplish this yet.I would like to help though. This is a super request,perhaps smart modder's are waiting for future patches,to make the game more playable: understandable position.

I don't know exactly what files Spaxpore used, but the original Pacific Aces mod for SHII used a wonderful mix of Run Silent, Run Deep, U-571 (see, it was good for something) and Operation Petticoat.

And maybe a few others I've forgotten.

I was hoping to have the command issued, lookouts below before diving. And to hear the order given, dive! dive! all dive!

That was in the PA mod, pretty much as you described it.

Also commands like "Rig for silent running". "Rig for silent running. No unnecessary movement, no unnecessary talking!"
