Cat and mouse game

I just sunk a River Escort Destroyer in from of a C Class Destroyer and the C Class is playing cat and mouse, coming in and then moving out and I have tried 5 times to put G7es 4 metres magnet into her.

What would you do to make her come at me close enough to hit her. She got as close as 800 metres and then turned away showing her 6th.

Would she be using one of thos Foxer units as well?

What does the foxer do anyway???

Oh, since her draft is 3.5 metres, I have been setting my torpedo depth at 4 m magnetic.
