Career interface, Capt's log, Medal case...

In there Career mode, main page(the one where your'e sitting at your desk) I cannot access the medal box. It only opens, but doesnt go to a seperate screen so I can see my medal. Also, the photo of the one sailor, inbetween the cew photo and the sub model, doesnt do anything at all.
The Captains log book will open and goto a screen, but it says I have no patrols completed, when, in fact, I've completed 2 patrols? I havent written anything in my captains log while on patrol, so this may have something to do with it.
