Default BUG: Save Games....

I think this issue needs more attention, possibly from the devs.

I've read of others complaining that when they load a save file they are at All Stop, and that is not terrible at all.

BUT... there is a lot more that can happen with save files...

1 - Enemy who did NOT know you were there before, instantly do once you load.

2 - Enemy who were at 0 when Saved start at 34 when Loaded.

3 - AI changes all perspective and tactics.... they do not resume prior "personalities" but have essentially hit a reset button.

4 - I have a Chief in my Fore Torp Room who has the Increase Torpedo Speed skill worth 20% speed increase. When I Load and go to fire those torps now they go ZERO knots.... the bubbles come out the nose, but the torps go to a no-clip mode and sit still while my sub moves forward. Later, you can see them hovering in the water.

5 - Weather changes instantly with the load. I've gone from stormy seas and darkness at 10:41am to calm water and 5 times the light.

6 - If you save over the same file several times, sometimes you cannot load it and the game CTDs. So be sure to save new files every time and delete the one you no longer use.

There are probably other issues, as well. I simply haven't picked up on them yet.

And let me say one other thing... when I spend hours in real time to get into the perfect position on an enemy task force... and then find out it is a CARRIER FLEET (not just 3 DDs defending a Liner or two) with 3 Shokakus, 2 Mogamis, a Seaplane tender, an escort carrier, a Naka light cruiser, 2 tankers and perhaps 10+ destroyers....... and then have the save files grenade after you have sunk 2 Shokakus (granted, I was PROBABLY not going to survive the situation anyway, LOL) but to meet defeat because of a glitch it a real SOAB!

Also.... what gives with this? Is this a bug or the SecuRom acting out again? Most of the time the save files WORK. But then later in the same session if I want to load them they are messed up big-time. I can take pics of all my docs and discs if need be to prove ownership if it is the SecuRom. And I kind of hope that's what it is. At least then we know its not a random error in the code.

Edit: I will load pics of the standstill torps and the faulty launch when Imageshack is working again. Atm, their site isn't opening for me.

If it's anything like SH3, for the love of God don't save anywhere near another ship. Bad joss.

That would solve some of the problems with AI shifts, but what about the torpedos not moving? That pretty much ends the game right there.
