I was just wondering if the new patch will include all the fixes in 1.1, or will it need to be installed along with 1.1.
I have the game, but to be totally honest I have yet to install it. For one thing, I'm still in the middle of an exciting career in the Atlantic aka. GWX. Secondly, I would rather wait until all the major issues are ironed out with the patches, and play the sim the way it was meant to be. |

As one Nub to another, I'd recommend that you install SH4 a.s.a.p. and patch it to 1.1 without even bothering to run it. Then enjoy! SH4 is something of a different experience from SH3 and GWX. A great deal of it is very familar, but - dependng on your system's specs - the graphics are incredible ( I can wait for anti-aliasing ) and the first time you contact and see a Japanese Task Force is a magical moment.
I currently have three careers on the go in GWX in different years / areas / U-boats, two in a very heavily-modded "normal" SH3 on a similar basis and one in SH4. Only problem is that work, life and other minor considerations keep getting in the way. |
