Is There A Mod Or Fix For The Ship-Rec-Manual?

Whille I am using Sub school to help me with manual targeting I am not good enough yet to take it into my career.

And though I don't you it all the time even in SH3, the ship rec-manual the boxes that come up then the aob is spot on, boxes appear and you can or supposed to be able to click the one you want, keel stern and so on to aim your shot. But unlike SH3 the boxes in SH4 manual you can't click them to aim your shot..

Can a mod fix this or does it have to be a patch from the devs?
