Default Dive Depths

K, Did a little depth testing... 2 observations. (version 1.0, nothing later yet, ain't got the patch)

a) Time compression collapses the bulkhead earlier than normal speed (so when diving to depths below 50 meters, keep time compression off).
Porpoise made it to 135 meters before the bulkheads gave way in 1x TC. Porpoise gave way at 50 meters at 64X TC (might have been higher TC i can't remember).

b) Prolonged exposure to deep depths can also sink you. Was in a Gato at 165 meters... basically trying to test when it would collapse. It got to the dive depth meter limit and stayed at 165 happily for about a minute. Soon after that, the bulkheads gave way.

These are the non TC results for 3 subs diving at a constant rate from surface(that's all i had time for)

Gar - 135 meters (rear bulkhead gave way first)
Gato - leveled off at 165 meters (prolonged exposure led to rear bulkhead giving way)
Porpoise - 135 meters ( forward bulkhead gave way first)

Does the sim, model damage physically or has it got a preset list of options for crushing? The fact that the sub gave way earlier due to TC might suggest that it does. Sudden increase in forces (due to pessure change) lead to a higher stress situation than a gradual increase in force.
Would this mean that it would be very difficult for the dev team to alter their code to prevent this from happeneing?
