Default Media reviews starting to come in...

Seems like the folks at IGN and their readers have differing opinions on the game...

http://pc.ign.com/articles/774/774690p1.html

was suprised how the ign review only had about 3 sentances at the end briefly mentioning bugs in a vague manor...

Hmmm... ok, sounds on track from what I've seen, Steve is a respected journalist. Sounds like the game appealed to him, in spite of the bugs.

Well, IGN is thinking of the average person and of course, their advertising revenues!

For most people who don't care about the intricacies of the TDC, "protractors and stopwatches", or even what the units of measurement mean, then SH4 is pretty much as they described.

Nice graphics and fun in places. With a patch, perhaps it'll become interesting for those of us who want a bit more depth (if you'll pardon the pun).

r.

I'll bet they already have some patched stuff, its the beauty of PC development. The developer can show them what they are doing, vs. being rated out of the box... Besides, the patch notes are mostly writen in the past tence so I wouldn't be supprised if the german site got a bug report and posted it...
We'll see.
