Go to the location & look through the scope and lock the target there is a camera icon down on the control bar.

I got one for you how do you do a patrol mission..
Gone to my patrol location hung around for a couple of weeks sinking anything that moves radio in every 24 hours sail back to port and mission incomplete?

Saxspore, do you happen to know what the general sizeof the patrol box must be to get the mission completed? I would hate to stray outside for a day and have to repatrol all over again.

Good info, though, this question has been raised in the bug thread. And it may have something to do with people not seeing the results of their patrol in base.

Looks like its in the square that the icon resides in, i went out side the square a couple of times, but i came back took me about 3-5days to complete. but with those usin realistic fuel this is goin to be tricky, i have almsot all the realism settings on except my fuel. Since this game makes it almost impossible to mange.

I would suspect that it is accumalative. (like SH3). You could patrol for 12hrs move to another grid and then come back and do another 12hrs to complete your 24hr stint.

I would like to know a definitive time for the patrol area though.
