I was patrolling in BE33, just to the sw of Ireland. October 1943.
I heard a convoy heading towards me. over the course of a few hours I manuvered into the 2 o'clock positon and fire at 3 ships and dive to get the heck out away from the escorts. I make my getaway to the stern of the convoy with 2 sunk and 1 damaged. I am behind them with the convoy fading away to the NE when I detect another convoy coming behind on almost the same route as the first. Go up to PD, reload, manuver into 2 o'clock and fire at another 3 ships. This time only 1 sunk and 2 damaged and they sail away to the NE in the wake of the first convoy. Guess what? Yes. another convoy on hydrophone but coming from the NW and heading towards me to the SE. I couldnt attack because battery/O2 was low so I surfaced and over the course of the night, try to manuver into position. Unfortunately the weather got rainy and foggy and I broke off the attack. This is a first for me. i saved out so I hope another shows up when I log back in.

I had a two convoy once. Once convoy was heading north. I was running up the port side to get ahead(it was night time and I was surfaced). Mean while, I'm getting the location of the warships on the convoy and my watch screams out ship spotted at a heading there should not be ships
