Default Ship weak spots

In the SH3 community manua, under "Ship Weak Spots" it shows a picture of a few ships and where their engine room, fuel tanks & ammo bunkers are.

The T2 Tanker is shown, but *NOT* the T3 Tanker.

The T2 Tanker shows the engine room well forward of the smoke stack.
Is this correct?

Is there a diagram somewhere of the T3 Tanker, or any other ships?

Go to Jimbunas filefront site and download shipchart.pdf, I´m not sure it contains all ships but most of them anyway.

I'm sure there are but as a general guideline it's always best to aim for the 1st mast, most merchant ships go down with just 1 eel, may take a while for them to take the hint and sink though.

For warships I always aim a mag shot at the 2nd forward turret

The only notable exception is the Passenger/Cargo that has no weak spots, none, not one, nuttin'

No, not even close. The real T2's boiler and engine rooms are at the stern.

I couldn't find one, but the best bet is to remember that the funnel (smokestack) is almost always going to be right over the boiler room, or very near it.

I agree, that's what to try... I still need more torpedoa as I am to stupid for manual targeting to make it correct every time.

yeah thanks, Jimbunas filefront site and the **ShipChart.pdf ** was exactly what I was looking for.

Wish I had a color printer though.....

thanks guys..

U49...Don't wory about the manual targeting though... I will never do the complete manual targeting either. By the time I would get it figured out the ship would have sailed past gone on to port & unloaded.

I have just as much fun tracking down a ship and getting in position for a shot. I use that little green triangle that was put in the game for guys like me.
When it gets about 15 degrees from where I want to shoot I unlock the auto thing & use the cross hairs to hit where I want. It is just as much fun for me anyway.

shipchart.pdf is an AMAZING source. Just started my first career and I'm always referring to it. No more wasting 3 eels on a C3 (just one now).

Yes, it is one of those things that a Kaptian would have at his finger tips.

I can't find the Tramp Steamer, Pax/Cargo or that other abortion from the states..can't think of the name right now...,but it's not their either... lol

This will do me just fine though and I am thankful for it.

thanks Jimbuna....
