deleting previous saves?

Can I delete previous save games without jeopardising the later ones? If I can, which files/folders should I delete? I know SH3 won't allow deleting previous save games without deleting the later ones, but...

I remember it like it was ....well weeks ago which I guess would be normal
as it was.

suppose for a moment I knew how to succesfully delete an early
save without losing a later one wouldnt you feel awkward

but we're like method actors here ,,,,mmmmm "what is my motivation for this"

you will need to verify it with someone but I think

if you grab it out of here

C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\SH3\data\cfg\Careers\PlayerName

and make copy of which one you want to save then dump what you dont
want manually or in game that should do it.

to be safe though if you cant verify with someone then just backup
the whole folder before trying it.
