Default GW1.1a

it's GW1.1a an I've fresh installation of SH3 + Patch 1.4 and no SH3 Commander.
Anyway...what's the difference between GW1.1a and GWX ?

It sounds like your patch to 1.4b was not successful. See this post/thread:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...67&postcount=6

You will probably have to reinstall and patch again. Make sure you have the right patch. There are four different versions depending on whether you have the DVD or download version of SH3 and Nationality (American/European).

Since you have to reinstall anyway, I would strongly suggest using GWX instead of GW1.1. GWX is the "next generation" of GW1.1 and has many more fixes and features. Check out the manual here:
http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/GWX...NUAL_EN_PF.pdf

See the GWX homepage for the files you need. Don't forget the 1.02 patch if you do:

The message means your menu 1064.768.ini file in SHIII\data\menu is screwed up.
I would follow the above advice; reinstall, patch to 1.4 and install GWX and then GWX patch 1.02.

Did you choose the Generic mod enabler method (JSGME) ? Never tried that way.

I would reinstall SH3 or just repatch SH3 and install GW without using the mod option.
