Default A question about Sh3 and GWX

Ok guys here's a bit of a doozy one of the things i liked about sh2 was the set missions but the thing i like about sh3 is the free form campaign. Now the question is can the 2 be tied together in 3.
So that when your out sailing the sevenish seas could bdu radio you to ie go to say lerwick sub base and take recon photo's. I know its a bit of a dumb question but it would be really good if you could do both literally the best of both worlds any theory's?

I agree that a combination of the two would make for a good experience. You could get additional renown for faithfully following BdU missions or alternatively go off and do your own thing (and maybe earn renown that way instead). There should be some kind of reward tied in to following orders though.

Personally I like it when you get a radio message telling you to go off and patrol some new area even if I know it's likely to be a dud mission - it adds to the historical feel. As commanders we should have some capacity to make our own decisions, but we should also have to obey (or at least receive!) orders from above.

Just download Sh3 generator and you will receive new missions besides the patrol area.
