Default Notepad mod?

Hey folks,
I was wondering if there was any way to implement some kind of note keeping device into SH3, for those of us who play online campaigns like WaW - its very tedious having to switch from game to Word or Notepad, or writing it all by hand and then typing it up again. I just wondered if it was possible, especially with the new slideout features availiable in GWX

Default notepad

K_P,
There have been many discussions on this topic. The bottom line is: no one has come up with a way to do this.
It has been suggested for SHIV, but there is no news on that.
Ubisoft has hinted that they will release the core files. If that happens, someone will come up with a way to do it.

"seriously considering the release of a sdk" is often used corporate talk for "no way"

Yes I would be surprised if they did it because realistically they wouldn't gain much.

The way that they have laid out all the data in text files is as close as you can get to an SDK or "open" sim. That's why I don't like people bashing them for the absence of the SDK.

The only way I see them doing that is,
After the Market release of the upcoming
SH4, then Ubisoft could release an SDK
With Core files to help the SHIII Moding
community....:hmm:

After all they've got much to thank to
the suport given from SHIII community
considering the Modding and keeping
The Game Alive for some years...

But seriousely, I don't think they'll release any!!!
