Default No upgrades!

Hi.

I run SHIII with GWX and Commander.
I´m in Dec. 1940 in an IX-B. Homeport Lorient.

I´m waiting to have the second conningtower. But there is none.
No engine or batterie upgrade......
The only upgrade so far is the 2cm FK C/30 Flakzwilling.

Is it supposed to be that way?

IIRC, the upgrades have been adjusted to be historically correct.(appear later)

I wonder if there is anything in the GWX manual about this.:hmm:

If I Remember Correctly = IIRC

I'm not sure about availablity options via SH3Cmdr, If it is possible it would require editing a cfg file, either in SH3Cmdr or GWX.

JScones is online at he 'mo, maybe he will see this and answer it indepth.

Yes, in GWX (and maybe even TGW?) you get Turm II in Jan 1942.

As you use SH3Cmdr, the best way to change the conning tower availability would be to apply the changes directly to SH3Cmdr and let it modify SH3 everytime it is run.

To do this, open SH3 Commander\Cfg\Static Settings.cfg. Just above the last line (;------etc) add the following:

CONING_TYPE10|Year=194x <-whatever year you want Turm II
CONING_TYPE10|Month=x <-whatever month you want Turm II
CONING_TYPE11|Year=194x <-whatever year you want Turm III
CONING_TYPE11|Month=x <-whatever month you want Turm III

This should get you your Turms whenever you want them. Please note though that I have not checked the Flak gun availability to determine whther getting these Turms earlier will actually be of any real use to you. I guess you'll find that out soon enough. But if that is the case and you find yourself missing Flak guns, fixing is simply a matter of following the same logic as above but changing the appropriate AMMO_TYPE dates.
