will we only see enemy air units, or will we also encounter friendly air units looking to visually identify us...possibly with the potential for mis-ID and attacks by friendly units. Thus requiring we provide morse coded responses to blinker(light) gun challenges at night.

I haven't read anything that can answer your questions, but I would love to see that level of detail modeled in the AI. I think it would certainly make for a more immersive and enjoyable gameplay experience.

I dont think there will be morse code blinker lights, but I would be very surprised it there are no friendly air units. I think it should at least have all the Greywolves features present and more.
They cant be outdone twice in 2 games by a mod for the first game. |

There will be allied aircraft in game as the devs stated, there will be airstrikes on enemy possitions in which you may have to recover pilots from the downed planes :p
I doubt they will shoot at you though...
