I'm getting worse!

Manual TDC Seems I am definitly slumping had an average of about 70% hits but the last 2 patrols have been terrible averages to say the least 20% or worse between torps bouncing off, missing, premature detonations((cant tell using 100% realism except the prematures)) My average was excellent around 70% using NYGM is quite good getting in close and slammin them ................ Frustrated risking life n limb charging in mostly night attacks on the surface for little or no gain than being depth chaged for 6 hours IS NOT FUN WELL actully it is fun but thats another story

my last patrol was terrible for actually hitting my targets. I make such an effort to precisely calculate my TDC information and when i finally shoot they miss. The biggest blow is when i missed the Nelson by 10 meters on the way back from my patrol (it was a futile attempt anyway because i only had 3 torps left and was 4 km out, but it still sucked).

anyway, GWX is friggin sweet and i love it and it adds an extra challenge to the the game and an extra feeling of nervousness when i shoot my torps.

I've been in a slump too. Not sure I'd admit to 20% though. I'd say something more like, "Oh wow man! It took me 14 torpedos to sink 2 Tramp Steamers".

My previous two patrols sucked with a total 4400 tons sunk...Then nr 7 came and I have sunk almost 40000 tons !

Looking forward to rewarding my crew with Iron cross 1st class

I've had these kind of patrols, worst miss ever was an eel that went BETWEEN the rudder and the hull , yep, that's right, between that very small space, just above the screws

After that I immediately broke off the attack and went back to harbor LOL

im only on my 2nd patrol but only hitting about 20% but learned a cpl calculating tricks after going through a terrible shooting spell,sometimes have to hit bottom to go learn more,stick in there. i am

As to "Be More Agressive", somebody always quotes that anytime there's a complaint about lack of success, no matter what the cause. I just did it first this time.
