Blind Radar

Can someone tell me what is Blind Radar? I only recieve contact information while in port. I am in April 1942. The FUMB-29 stops working as soon as you leave port, there is no antenna. Though I roll back SH3 on the SH3 Commander & I thought somebody said it did. I did what the GWX manual said in getting my 1st radar however there is no antenna.

Where did you get "Blind radar", or in which context it was applied?.
The FUMO28 doesn't have a standard antenna, it's an arc shaped piece that's aplied in the front of the conning tower, it has a limited rang, I think about 5/7 km and in a narrow arc about +20º/-20º in front of your sub, as whith most sub radars is only usefull at night or with fog.
